Best Catholic Novel of the Year 2014
from the Catholic Press Association!
Hermes McCaffrey is sick and tired of sharing his life with his father’s political career and his overbearing older brothers. So during his family’s vacation in New England, when he meets Raphaela, a lovely and brilliant girl dreaming in a hidden tower, is it surprising that he wants her all to himself?
But visiting Raphaela is dangerous, and not just because of her mother’s paranoia about strangers, or the mansion’s sinister caretaker. When Hermes decides to go too far, the results are devastating for Raphaela ... and for Hermes.
What happens when falling in love leads to falling into sin? Can sex destroy love? And when you do fall from grace, is there any way back?
Age 18 and up.
"Reading a novel by Regina Doman is always a treat and Rapunzel Let Down: a fairy tale retold is no exception. A fast paced modern-day parable, Regina's latest is a page-turner and a moral primer wrapped up with fascinating character development, compelling dialogue and a story that draws you in and won't let you go. Read this and share it with a loved one!"

WOW!!!! That's all I can say. What a story. It was really good but intense. Its wonderful to have stories like this because so many people glorify sex outside of marriage, but Regina Doman beautifully and effectively shows the truth in this novel. The age limit is needed though. ALL sexual distortions are brought to light and not as hidden as in her other stories. Its the BEST book out there for discussion of these issues. Everyone should read it. Ad if you're under 18 read it with a fiend, sister/brother, or parent. At 19 it was almost too much for me on my own.

I just finished reading Rapunzel Let Down, and I think I like this one best out of all the Fairy Tale Novels. There was something more in it that pulled me in and made me feel blessed to be reading it. Thank you for sharing this story.

A modern fairy tale with harsh realism and tough consequences, Rapunzel Let Down will have you on the edge of your seat, and you will believe that love can overcome the most extreme challenges. An incredible read.
