About Regina

Regina Doman is a Catholic wife, mother, author and editor. As an author, she has written the Fairy Tale Novels, a series of books for teens and adults that places fairy tales in modern settings with Christian themes interwoven. Her only picture book Angel in the Waters has sold over 150,000 copies.  Regina and her husband Andrew live in Virginia's Shenandoah Valley on a homestead with their children. To the question, “How do you manage to get it all done?” Regina responds, “What makes you think I get it all done?”

Until 2017, Regina and her husband operated a micro-publishing company, Chesterton Press, which specialized in fun Catholic fiction that evangelizes the imagination by telling a good story. In 2018 she transferred ownership of her fiction for young people to St. Benedict's Press. She continues to publish the John Paul 2 High series and the Fairy Tale Novels, but she is hoping to find publishing homes for those series eventually as well.

Books written, published, or edited by Regina are still available for sale on this website, but eventually it will only carry books that she herself has written.

Although she is no longer running a publishing company, Regina continues to write books, scripts for graphic novels, films, and audio drama, and is available for consultation on editing projects. Contact her through this website for her rates.

If you are looking for good Catholic fiction, Regina encourages you to visit St. Benedict's Press, Ignatius Press, Sophia Institute Press, and Pauline Media for good books for young people.

If you are looking to publish fiction or for advice on how to publish, she highly recommends The Catholic Writer's Guild  which is an excellent network for aspiring writers.

If you are looking for information on a Catholic alternative to secular book fairs for your school or homeschool group, you might want to contact St. Paul's Book Fair, Good News Book Fair, A Lost Sheep, VirtueWorks, or Eureka Book Fairs.
